Symptoms

Symptoms of Radiculoplexus neuropathy normally affect one side of the body. But, sometimes they may spread to both the sides.

Some of the common symptoms include:

  • Acute Pain: Patients with Radiculoplexus neuropathy may face acute pain in a hip and thigh or buttock.
  • Muscle Shrinking: Thigh muscles will eventually shrink and get weak.
  • It’s hard for the patients to rise from a sitting posture or position.
  • Abdominal swelling: In case if your abdomen is affected, there is chance for your abdomen to get swelling.
  • Weight loss: Similar to the symptoms of diabetes, patients will lose weight.

Patients may improve partially over time. However, the symptoms may worsen before they get better.
