People with type 1 diabetes, the pancreas does not work properly while in type 2 diabetes the body remains unable to respond to the insulin that is made.

Though carbs are converted to glucose, it is not necessary that people with diabetes should avoid it fully. As always, they remain part of a healthy diet. Some foods like whole grain foods and fruits are rich in fiber, vitamins, and nutrients.
