Shirodhara is yet another ayurvedic treatment process conceptualised by ancient ayurveda Acharyas. The name comes from the Sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow). The treatment is 40 minute process which needs to be done with utmost care and perfection. During this treatment oil and Kashayas will be poured over forehead of patient for around 30 to 40 minutes based on the diseases. During this process the therapist ensures that the oil and Kashayas are applied across the head in a uniform manner.
The oil and Kashayas are prepared by our medicine department from our own herbal ayurvedic garden to ensure quality levels of the medicines. Head massage is also a part of Shirodhara and our therapist are fully trained to do the same in the most ideal manner.
